    Crush the cornflakes into pieces and mix them with the butter, then set aside.

    Meanwhile, sauté the chopped onion in a knob of butter, dust with flour, season with salt and pepper, add milk little by little and thicken.

    Remove from heat and add the shredded cheese and cooked carrots cut into slices.

  4. 4

    Pour all into a greased baking dish.

  5. 5

    Sprinkle with chopped parsley and the prepared cornflakes.

    Bake for 15 minutes at medium oven (thermostat 6/180°C).
