Wash the tomatoes well, cut them into pieces.

Add the sugar and the lemon sliced in rounds.

Place everything in a large saucepan or an aluminum pot.

Cook over medium heat until reduced by more than half and the mixture is thick (about 35 minutes).

Let the jam cool down before bottling it in glass jars.
