    Peel and wash the cabbage.

    Cut it into four parts.

    Put it to cook in boiling water.

    Fill a pressure cooker halfway with water.

    Bring it to a boil.

    Add the smoked meat and bacon.

    Skim off any foam after a few minutes.

    Add all the vegetables, including the cabbage.

    Season with pepper but do not salt because of the smoked meat.

    Close the pressure cooker.

    Let it cook for 40 minutes starting from when the valve begins to rotate.

    Re-close and let it cook for another 10 minutes.
