    Separate the egg whites from the yolks.

    Beat the yolks with the sugar.

    Add the milk, water, and vanilla extract.

    Sift the flour in a thin stream while continuously stirring.

    Add the melted butter.

    Whip the egg whites into stiff peaks and gently fold them into the mixture.

    (There should be pieces no larger than hazelnuts floating on top of the batter.)

    Pour the mixture into a greased mold and bake (preheated oven) at 150°C for 50 minutes.

    Do not use fan-assisted heating.
