    Preheat your oven to thermostat 6 (180°C).

    Mix the butter (or margarine) with the other ingredients until you form the dough.

    (Do not hesitate to mix by hand if you prefer.)

    Line the bottom of the tart pan with baking paper, then distribute the dough into the pan.

    Prick the base of the pastry.

    Bake for about 15 minutes. While it’s baking, wash the blackberries and remove the stems.

    Beat the whites until stiff by gradually adding the sugar.

  8. 8

    When the whites are well firm, gently fold in most of the blackberries.

    Keep a few aside for decoration.

    Pour this mixture over the pre-baked pastry.

    Reduce the oven temperature to thermostat 3/4 (120°C) and bake the tart for about 30 minutes. Let it cool before decorating with the remaining berries.
