    De-shell the shrimp.

    Cut half of the squid into julienne strips.

    Chop the ginger.

    Peel and slice half of the carrots, leeks, onions, and mushrooms.

    Place the de-shelled shrimp, uncut half of the squid, unchopped vegetables, and ginger in the blender.

    Add water (1 L).

    Pour into a pot and sauté for 5 minutes over high heat.

    Strain using a Chinese strainer to obtain clear broth.

    Arrange four bowls with whole shrimp, vegetables, and julienne-cut squid.

    Pour the boiling broth.

    Season with salt and pepper.
