Instructions

  1. 1

Pour the sifted flour into a large mixing bowl, make a well in the center to form a fountain, add the baking yeast, bread yeast, eggs, salt, and powdered milk.

  2. 2

Mix all the ingredients, gradually adding warm water with your hands while working the dough, avoid forming lumps, mix thoroughly until you get a smooth and light dough, knead it.

  3. 3

Place this dough in a plastic container, close it, and let it rise for about two hours to double in volume.

  4. 4

Preheat a clay skillet, wipe it with a cloth dipped in egg yolk, pour a ladle of the dough and cook over high heat until holes appear on the surface, cook on one side only.

  5. 5

Continue the operation until all the dough is used up.

  6. 6

Arrange the baghrir on a plate and spread them while still hot with butter and melted honey.
