    Cut the top off the small loaf of bread.

    Remove the crumb from the bottom ( hollow out the bread ).

    Cover the cavity with the ham.

    Break the egg into the cavity. The ham should prevent it from being absorbed by the bread.

    Sprinkle a little gruyère and replace the top.

    Wrap in aluminum foil and bake in the oven at 180°C for

    20 minutes.
