    Boil the potatoes in water for 40 minutes.

    Mash them into a puree.

    Add milk, salt, and pepper.

    Mix well and add more milk until your puree is smooth.

    Mix half of the butter and the cheese (reserving some for grating) into the puree.

    Peel and chop the garlic and onion.

    Sauté them in the remaining butter.

    Once they start browning, add the meat and tomato coulis.

    Cook for 10 minutes.

    Spread the mixture at the bottom of a gratin dish.

    Pour the puree over it and spread evenly across the entire surface of the dish.

    Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake for 20 minutes at 180°C (th.6).
