    Peel the cucumbers, slice them into very thin strips using a grater; it's not possible to do this with a knife as the slices must be extremely thin.

    Lay them out in a large dish, season lightly with salt and let drain for about 2 hours.

    Cut the oranges in half.

    Carefully remove the pulp using a grapefruit spoon or a special curved-blade knife.

    Cut the flesh into cubes, wash the salad.

    Pour the flesh into a mixing bowl, add the lettuce leaves, season with salt and pepper.

    Add one tablespoon of oil.

    Add the lemon juice.

    Drain the cucumber slices, dry them with paper towels.

    Place them in the bowl with the orange cubes.

    Gently mix everything and keep chilled.
