    Peel the asparagus, cook them for 20 minutes in salted boiling water until they are well tender.

    Set aside 4 tips.

    Drain the remaining asparagus and cut them into pieces.

    Put the asparagus in a blender with the mustard and fresh cheese.

    Blend until you get a creamy consistency.

    Add chives, parsley, and pepper.

    Refrigerate.

    In a pan, heat a little olive oil, and toast the bread slices.

    When the bread is nicely crispy, remove it, and rub it with a halved garlic clove just before serving. Spread the garlic bread with the fresh cheese cream and arrange some mountain ham shreds on top.
