In a container, mix 2/3 of the rye, your baking yeast and some lukewarm water to obtain a uniform dough and let it rest for 1 to 2 hours

While the dough is resting, beat the egg whites into stiff peaks and keep the yolks in a bowl

In a mixing bowl, place the dough then add a lemon zest, the egg yolks, nuts, jams, port wine, and arguardente, a little nutmeg, and sugar while kneading

Add lastly the pieces of candied fruits (keep some for decoration), and the stiff peaks of whites, then knead one last time

Grease your mold (preferably in crown shape) and dust it with flour before inserting the dough and add the candied fruits for decoration

Bake your preparation in an oven at 160°C for 45 to 60 min until golden brown
