    Peel the apples and finely slice them.

    Sauté the bacon bits for 3 minutes in butter.

    Cook for 1 minute. Keep chilled in a perfectly airtight container.

    Drain the lamb, keep the port wine.

    Brush the lamb and an oven dish with olive oil.

    Sprinkle the lamb generously with coarse salt and pepper.
