Microwave Chicken Liver Mousse
Prepare an easy chicken liver mousse with our microwave recipe!

Debread the bird livers: remove the tendons and any trace of bile.

Peel and chop the onion.

Cut the bacon and chicken livers into cubes.

Place 20 g of butter and the onion in a small saucepan, cover and cook for 1 minute (in the microwave on 900 watts).

Add the bird livers, bacon, and armagnac.

Cover and cook for 5 minutes and 30 seconds to 6 minutes at 400 watts.

Drain the preparation carefully and blend with the cream using a mixer.

Season with salt and pepper.

Pour the mixture into a terrine and place a bay leaf on the surface.

Melt the remaining butter for 30 seconds in the microwave at 900 watts.

Be careful as the time can vary depending on the initial consistency of the butter.

Then pour the melted butter over the terrine and refrigerate for at least half a day.

Serve with a herb salad, or with warm toast.
