Pickle peppers
This summer, make your own pepper jam and serve it as an aperitif.

Prepare the bell peppers: remove the seeds and stem, cut them into strips.

Blend the tomato juice in a blender.

In a jam bowl, place the bell pepper strips, the tomato juice, the wine, salt, and mix everything well, then add the sugar powder.

Mix.

Bring to a boil, and then cook for 45 minutes.

Stir regularly so that the preparation does not stick.

The jam is ready when the jelly forms (test the jelly by dropping a drop of jam on the edge of a plate, if the drop gels, the jam is ready, otherwise continue cooking).

Put in jars (they should be blanched without being dried) and seal hot, then turn over the jars until cooled.
