Wash and then cut the cabbage into pieces, as well as the 300 gr of bacon into slices. Peel the potatoes and carrots, and cut them into small pieces. In a pot filled with cold water, add the potatoes, carrots, Morteau sausage, and thyme, and begin to heat. Cut your bacon slices into strips and then into lardons, and render them for 5 minutes in a hot pan before adding to the pot. Cook everything for 30 minutes in the pot from when the valve whistles.
