    Peel and chop the shallot, garlic, basil, chili pepper, then mix everything (except half of the garlic) with the ground meat in a mixing bowl. Salt and pepper to taste, then form meatballs which you will roll in breadcrumbs. In a heated pan, pour a drizzle of olive oil, then brown the meatballs. Add tomatoes and the remaining garlic, and simmer for 10 minutes. Add one tablespoon of sugar and finely chopped basil, mix well, and let cook for another 15 minutes. Meanwhile, boil your 500 gr of spaghetti in a large pot of hot water for 10 to 12 minutes according to package instructions. Serve the pasta on a large plate topped with sauce and spicy meatballs around it, and sprinkle with parmesan for presentation.
