    Dry the cod fillets with paper towels.

    Season both sides with salt and pepper, then brush them with lemon juice.

    Let it stand for 10 minutes.

    Preheat the oven to 210°C.

    While doing this, prepare the sauce by making a roux: melt 30 g of butter in a saucepan.

    Add the flour, mix well and cook on low heat for 1 to 2 minutes.

    Dissolve the bouillon cube in 25 cl of hot water.

    Pour the broth over the butter-flour mixture, stirring with a whisk, and add cream.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    Place the cod fillets in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them.

    Bake for 30 minutes at 210°C.
