Homemade Sourdough Bread

29 March 2026
Sourdough bread is the king of artisan breads. Its crispy crust, airy crumb and slightly tangy taste make it both delicious and more digestible thanks to natural fermentation.

Making sourdough bread at home is a real pleasure. The slow fermentation of the starter develops incomparable aromas and makes the bread more digestible. This recipe assumes you already have an active sourdough starter (otherwise, allow 5-7 days to create one).

The key to success: patience. The starter works slowly but surely, and the result is a bread with complex flavors that no industrial bakery can match.
