Italian cabbage
A unique dish recipe perfect with cabbage and ground meat as a bolognese sauce.

Peel the cabbage and wash it.

In a pot, bring salted water to a boil, then add the cabbage, blanch for a minute or two, and cook for about 10 minutes.

While this is cooking, chop the tomatoes and sauté them with a bay leaf, the juice of half a lemon, and cumin seeds, season with salt and pepper.

Cook gently like this for 10 more minutes.

Drain the cabbage, cut it into strips, then add to the tomatoes and let it simmer for another 15 minutes, then remove the bay leaf.

Pour the vegetables into a gratin dish and add the ground meat, sprinkle with grated gruyère, put in a hot oven (230°C or thermostat 7/8) for about 20 minutes and serve immediately.
