    Wash and peel the mushrooms.

    Cut them into quarters or leave them whole if they are not too big.

    Peel and slice the onions into rounds.

    In a sauté pan, sauté the onions and crushed garlic with the olive oil and oregano.

    Add the mushrooms then pour in the tomato sauce, season with salt and pepper and stir.

    Cover and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.

    Sprinkle with Parmesan just before serving.
