    Fry (with oil) the beef pieces in a casserole.

    Remove them from the casserole and keep them warm.

    Cut the onion and pineapple into slices.

    Add them to the remaining oil and let it glaze for five minutes.

    Set aside.

    Return the beef pieces to the casserole with the stock, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper.

    Cook for 1 hour and a half or up to 2 hours (check the cooking and add more stock if necessary).

    At the end of cooking, add the pineapple and onion mixture.

    Adjust the seasoning and let it simmer on low heat for 5 to 10 minutes.
