What ingredients for Sauerkraut with haddock?

How to prepare Sauerkraut with haddock?

  1. 1

Boil a pot of water and blanch the desalted sauerkraut until it turns pale, then drain. In a Dutch oven, melt a knob of butter with your chopped onions until they golden. Add the sauerkraut to the Dutch oven along with the juniper berries, a bouquet garni of bay leaves and thyme, and half a liter of dry white wine. Let it cook for 30 minutes, peel the potatoes, and slice them into thick slices. Cut the haddock into 8 equal pieces and add to the Dutch oven with the potatoes. Simmer for another 30 minutes on low heat, checking the doneness regularly. Serve hot.
