    Cut the washed and seedless fruits in half.

    In a preserving pan, put the sugar, water, and split vanilla pod, heat everything until boiling and maintain for 2 minutes.

    Then add the fruits to this syrup and cook on high heat, stirring occasionally for about 30 minutes.

    Check the consistency from time to time by dropping a few drops of jam onto a cold plate; it should set at the edges and flow slowly.

    Skim off any foam, remove the vanilla pod, pack into jars and cover with cellophane or paraffin.
