Cut 6 thin slices from your salmon fillet, and dice the rest into large chunks. Place the salmon cubes in a blender with the sour cream and the whole egg, then pour into a mixing bowl with the chopped chives and smoked salmon sliced into strips. Lay the 6 slices of salmon on a sheet of plastic wrap, fill the center with the blended mixture, roll to form a roulade, and wrap tightly with plastic wrap. Cook in the top steamer basket for 15 minutes or in the microwave for 6 minutes. Serve hot with rice and some blinis.
