    Heat 1/2 l of liquid (coconut milk + water).

    Meanwhile, mix the sugar, shredded coconut, and yolks until the mixture is light yellow and frothy.

    Gradually pour in the boiling coconut milk into the eggs and return to heat on low flame, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.

    When the cream coats the back of a spoon, add the liquid cream and pour into the ice cream maker.
