Season the rabbit both inside and out, cut it into four pieces.

Peel all the vegetables and cut them into quarters.

Heat the oil in a casserole, brown the rabbit pieces until they are golden.

Add the chopped onions, carrots, canned tomatoes, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Pour in the water and let it cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
